As a current third year student at Purdue University studying Accounting and Finance, I have been involved with a variety of different clubs and organizations such as the Purdue Accounting Association, of which I hold an executive position as the president. Additionally, I am involved in community service based work on campus with organizations such as Purdue Gold Standard and PSSC that promote sustainability and environmental awareness. These positions have given me the opportunity to get involved on campus and work in teams and other leadership roles.I am originally from Calgary Canada, so coming to Purdue has been an amazing experience in which I have been able to adapt to a big change and learn to seek or take advantage of various opportunities. So far, my education at Purdue has developed not only my academic skills, but also my interpersonal skills which I look forward to applying in a professional setting.
