I am an award-winning Entertainment, Intellectual Property, Music, Technology and Video Game Attorney. I'm a master dealmaker on high dollar value deals with multi-party industry professionals and use various insider resources to protect my clients' rights and interests, while also providing a bespoke elevated service. I have extensive experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts for world renowned movie and music producers, production companies, screenwriters, content creators, artists, authors, musicians, composers, tech companies, and video game companies. I fiercely negotiate complex entertainment industry deals while utilizing years of experience to get the job done quickly and efficiently. I also intimately understand the filmmaking process from development through distribution, including financing, marketing, and more. I have worked extensively on music deals and licenses for global artists. I have also litigated numerous entertainment, business, real estate, and employment cases.I am the sole Attorney of Business and Legal Affairs, Music Supervisor and Post-Production Supervisor for the feature films “Best F(r)iends Volumes 1 + 2” starring cult film stars of “The Room” and “The Disaster Artist”, Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero (Lionsgate). I am the Music Supervisor for the “Best F(r)iends Volumes 1 + 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” composed by Daniel Platzman of Imagine Dragons. I am a passionate and engaging speaker and writer on Entertainment, Film, TV, Music, and Business law, DEI, and Technology. I am also a screenwriter, producer, and filmmaker. I am a Stowe Story Labs Selected Project Participant for my feature screenplay that explores themes of unregulated technology, human trafficking, and privacy. I have been recognized as a Super Lawyer (2023-present) and Super Lawyer Rising Star (2013-2017), received the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Diversity Award for the past 6 years for promoting diversity in the legal field and community, and the CCCBA’s Honor Roll for the last 3 years. I received a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in Silicon Valley, receiving the prestigious High Technology Law Certificate and the Pro Bono Award. I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in French; and from the UCLA Theater, Film, and Television Professional Program in Producing.
