As a professor at Centennial College, I teach biotechnology advanced and fast track programs to students who aspire to pursue careers in the biological sciences. I have a master's degree in human genomics and a diploma in biotechnology advanced fast track, which equip me with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the field. I also hold a first aid certification and a verified international academic qualification from World Education Services.In addition to teaching, I work as a laboratory technician at Public Health Ontario, where I perform whole genome sequencing using various platforms and methods. I have expertise in DNA library generation, automation system, data management, and biosafety level II protocols. I have been working in this role for over three years, and I enjoy applying my skills and knowledge to support public health initiatives and research projects. I am passionate about biotechnology, genomics, and microbiology, and I strive to inspire and empower my students and colleagues with the same enthusiasm.
