Thesis project examining how diversity impacts on nationals attitudes towards immigrants and immigration issues (key words: inter-group relations, prejudice, diversity, identity construction). Main Tasks include: -Conducting experimental research, (literature review, development of hypotheses, gathering analysing and interpreting data) -Writing/publishing scientific papers- Attending conferences to share my latest findings in various international scientific gatherings (latest conferences_year 2017_: EASP 2017 in Granada (scientific talk)Additional work tasks: -Teaching-Peer-reviewing-Collaborating with my team or other research teams on other research topics/papers (unrelated with my thesis topic)-Supervising students on individual projects/thesis (Bachelor and Master students)-Juror in the examination board (individual course exams and evaluation of master thesis defense).-Organising the Social Psychology labs Research Seminar (weekly seminar lasting the full year where researchers from various interantional institutes are invited to give a two hour long conference presenting their latest work to our research lab and our master students).Tasks include: launching invitations to profiled researchers, organizing their arrival, transmitting information and documents to people attending the seminar, administrating and updating the seminars intranet page using "chamilo".)-Applying for funding, managing funding-Additional administrative tasks (mainly assisting my supervisor or other colleagues in the lab on their respective tasks).
