I am a wanderlust-filled independent filmmaker working across the country - from New York City to Texas, Los Angeles and in between. My career in the entertainment realm began as an actor before accepting roles on the other side of the camera in 2010. I have worked on various film productions sifting through every department until directing naturally rose to the surface in 2016.My work focuses on both comedic and dramatic scripted content diving into uncomfortable nuances of behaviors and relationships. I am driven by subtle screenplays which push boundaries and examine the grey area between right and wrong, telling stories intended to uplift and empower individuals. These stories support equality and are told from HER point of view. ​I have directed countless short films, which have screened at festivals across the country. My first feature screenplay was a Second Rounder at Austin Film Festival 2021. I was awarded Texas Filmmaker of the Year at Austin Revolution Film Festival 2022. I have been awarded the San Antonio Film Commission Local Filmmaker Grant in 2017 and 2019. I was born in DC and lived across the world as a military kid. Texas became home before moving to New York City.
