About Natasha Tan
I am passionate about being able to provide the best healthcare to everyone, which has informed my scientific studies and ultimate decision to pursue a career in medicine. I have experience generating novel research for my Honours thesis around nanobiotechnology and the use of nanomedicine to target cancer. This sparked my curiosity around biotechnology that lead to me pursuing a Master of Biotechnology, which involved a year-long industry consulting experience with Leica Biosystems.Another passion of mine are events, of which I have been lucky to work at some of the biggest in the world. This includes the Australian Open, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Melbourne Cup, as well as concerts and sporting events at the Melbourne and Olympic Parks. In addition to this, my passion for travel and learning about different cultures has taken me to 33 countries thus far.Connecting with people is what excites me, and providing equitable healthcare is what drives me. Therefore regardless of the stage in my career, I hope to continue to work with others closely and make a difference advancing the field of science and health.
