I'm a 2x Emmy award-winning producer who's pounded the pavement, crawled under crime scene tape and even climbed a few mountains in pursuit of a good story. A skilled and tenacious journalist, I'm always searching for stellar scoops - and fighting for stories that spotlight the unseen, forgotten and disenfranchised.As the Special Projects Manager for WGCL - CBS46, I created, launched and produced the Emmy award-winning true crime series, CSI Atlanta, which is the only local television news program in the country to have its own crime scene investigator working alongside an editorial team to help solve forgotten Georgia cold case. In 2018, I was the recipient of the Atlanta Press Club's Award for Excellence for 'Reporting on Civil and Human Rights.'My unique approach to storytelling has launched successful news segments and series in several markets that have been fan favorites among viewers. I've worked as a digital producer, field producer and on numerous breaking news coverage, specials and documentaries. I'm adept at managing egos, remaining cool as a cucumber under pressure - and I have a knack for getting people to reveal things they'd otherwise keep close to the vest. Prior to television, I was a newspaper reporter with stints at the LA Times, Stamford Advocate and San Diego Union-Tribune. A native Californian, I have a serious love for Carne Asada burritos, traveling and the ocean. A political news junkie, in my spare time, I volunteer with HandsOn Atlanta.
