About Natasha Visage

As a graduate from Oregon State University with a BA in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Sociology, I am passionate about supporting and advocating for the families in our communities. I currently work as an Academic Coordinator for Bridge for Resilient Youth in Transition (BRYT) at Redmond School District, a program that helps students transition back to school after a mental health crisis. In this role, I cultivate connection and community among students, families, and staff, by teaching DBT and other regulation skills, finding and sharing resources, and advocating for students' needs. I also started and oversee the school's GSA/Unity club to provide extra support to our LGBTQIA2S+ students who are frequently struggling the most with their mental health. I use my skills in family development, childhood, and family studies to enable students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I am motivated by the positive impact I can make on students' lives and the opportunity to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
