Natasha's key role is to manage and direct project personnel to achieve agreed time, cost, quality, safety and environment standards for assigned projects in a way that fosters repeat business with each client and builds/maintains positive relationships with contractors, consultants and architects.Natasha recently worked with the project teams on the following projects ensuring their successful outcome;Mater Whitty and Pathology Projects at South BrisbaneBrisbane Private Hospital - In Patient UnitGold Coast Private Hospital - Stage 2Natasha is also responsible for;- Managing the flow of information throughout the project teams to ensure they are accurately informed as to the status of the project, in order to achieve performance targets- Ensuring projects remain on target by taking timely remedial action to avoid unplanned/budgetted overruns- Promoting Cockram's professional image and develop new business opportunities with potential/existing clients. - Assisting in winning profitable new work by providing construction input into proposal development and estimating.- Seeking out customer feedback, both positive and areas of improvement, and providing feedback to the project team- Managing the production of tender documentation and enhancing 'buildability' by determining construction methods to overcome problems in documentation. - Tendering and selecting sub-contractors and developing and negotiating construction packages.- Overseeing and reporting progress and trouble shoot against construction programmes.

Natasha began her role with Walton as a project manager and was quickly promoted to construction manager responsible for a team of project managers, contracts administrators, sitemanagers, foremen and labourers. Her purpose was to manage and take responsibility forall construction projects, provide advice and feedback to the state manager on performance, staffing, productivity, delivery and client satisfaction.Natasha’s key duties and responsibilities can be summarised into the following areas;- Marketing- Pre-Tender Analysis and Tender Management- Construction and Operational Management- Training, Development and Recruitment- Reporting to Executive ManagementWalton Construction grew from a staff of approximately 20 people and a turnover of $35 Million to a team of over 80 members with a turnover in excess of $110 Million during Natasha’s employment. Natasha was entrusted as a signatory on electronically funds transfers as well as written cheques for the company.

The Kennedy Group is a private entity owned by the one Director and formed by a collection of companies including Kennedy Haulage (civil engineering/construction business), Beaudesert Blue Metal Quarry, Clutha Creek Sand Manufacturing Plant and Kennedy Homes. Whilst Natasha provided input into the strategic management of all areas of the Group she was mainly charged with the responsibility to increase the turnover and profitability of Kennedy Haulage.Natasha performed a critical analysis of the company structure, pricing strategy, currentmarketing campaigns, existing reporting systems, quality control methods and implementation andmanagement of key performance indicators. Natasha developed systems and control methods to ensure future targets were not only met but monitored and maintained throughout the financial year. As part of the review of Kennedy Haulage, Natasha liaised with a team of lawyers to drive the development and implementation of construction contracts and subcontracts which acted to align the company with its statutory obligations. She also developed and implemented a costing system to efficiently track costs on each project on a daily basis and improve the timing and accuracy of monthly cost reporting to management.Natasha was solely responsible for the recruitment of staff, development of induction processes,implementation of training and mentoring schemes and appraisal of staff performance. With a keen sense of leadership and strong communication, Natasha recruited engineers and administration staff along with site supervisors and placed them in highly effective team structures. Natasha was a sole signatory for on line payments as well as written cheques and was instrumental in the recovery of $3 Million of outstanding retention. Kennedy Haulage grew from a staff of 18 people and a turnover of $8 Million to a staff of 45 people with a turnover in excess of $30 Million during Natasha’s employment as the Construction Manager.

Natasha’s objective on entering Walter Construction after completing a Bachelor of Engineering at QUT, was to be part of and eventually lead a team with the aim to capitalise on prospective situations in the marketplace that would enable the company to continually improve and constantly inspire its employees, clients and competition alike.
