Natasha is a graduate student in epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Having spent more than 9 years of experience working across sectors in food and nutrition, Natasha has strong knowledge of epidemiology, food systems, and global health. She has a vision to direct global food systems toward a sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient future. Natasha is particularly interested in monitoring population dietary patterns in rural areas and fostering inclusive food environments. She aspires to lead food systems transformations that improve social and health outcomes in rural communities, create entrepreneurial opportunities, and boost transparency of current issues of food systems.Natasha is also interested in working in global health to address chronic diseases, especially for children in low- and middle-income contexts. She is particularly interested in tackling malnutrition, obesity, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Natasha has proven strong leadership in academic, professional and non-profit settings. Natasha is currently open to work, and is especially interested in consultancy roles that work in global health, nutrition, and healthcare systems. She is also able to offer mentorship to young professionals in public health and nutrition and provide support in educational contexts.
