Part of the Senior Management team, this role oversees an number of projects simultaneously and directs action to ensure that they maintain cost and timing targets. This role also includes a business development portfolio, developing business from Defence, Emergency Service and Civilian sectors.Key Accountabilities:• Monitor, assess, and develop strategies to maximise profit margin for each IDES project, with full responsibility for resource allocation and procurement strategy.• Develop System Engineering Plans (SEMP), Contract Master Schedules (CMS), Project Management Plans (PMP), • Identify and win new business through competitive tenders or through marketing services and products• Develop new and maintain existing business relationships, including supplier and subcontractor reviews and audits

Role Scope: First point of contact between the Purchasing Department and the other departments at Holden. One of the primary functions of this role is to provide leadership to co-ordinate program content changes to the vehicles and liaise between engineering, marketing, design and purchasing. Key Accountabilities:• To provide advice for sourcing strategies for components for new vehicle programs• Ensure that Stakeholder processes are adhered to enable sourcing to run agreed plans• Resolve any stakeholder conflicts that prevent timely sourcing of parts• To escalate issues to Directors and provide advice on possible solutions and outcomes • Represent Global Purchasing at a number of senior management forums

Role Scope: To design, develop and release parts and assemblies for the Instrument Panel of Zeta Architecture vehicles (VE Commodore) As VSE for the Interior Group my responsibility was to ensure that the engineering of the interior for the Commodore is delivered on time with excellenceKey Accountabilities:• As lead IP&C engineer for Zeta 1 programs I was responsible for mentoring 3 engineers as well as co-ordinating work with GM India• Developing parts and assemblies from concepts generated by the Design Department • Developing timing and development plans to ensure that the quality, durability and timing deliverables for the Commodore program are achieved.
