Sr. Security Programs Analyst – Tasked to review and revise the Security Plan, Site Protective Strategy, and implementing procedures in response to regulatory changes and site performance. Responsible for management and implementation of various security initiatives, to include the development of methods to implement new security regulatory requirements and recommend solutions to security issues. Responsible for preparation of security department budget, business plans, and analysis of financial reports. Security Project Management – Manages the design, funding, planning and oversight of several security projects to reach compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure success during NRC Force-on-Force evaluations. Security Systems Oversight – Assesses the integration of new technology into the existing Security System. Provides oversight of engineering and maintenance actions to maintain system health of all security equipment. This includes the monitoring, inspection, review of testing and preparing system performance indicators.Safeguards Information Coordinator – Responsible for implementing the NRC requirements contained in 10 CFR 73.21/73.22 to include protection of Safeguards Information (SGI), as well as training and oversight of individuals authorized access. Currently a member of the Nuclear Energy Institute SGI Task Force, representing the industry on SGI related issues. Force on Force – Tasked with assisting in the preparation for the 2005, 2008, 2012, and 2014 NRC triennial force on force evaluation; presented the site Protective Strategy Briefing; prepared NRC submittal package; designed power point presentations; planned and participated in practice drills; developed scenario documentation for actual exercises. Serves as a Composite Adversary Force team member.

Nuclear Security Officer - Responsible for controlling all points of vehicle and personnel access to prevent unauthorized entry; register visitors and provide escorts; conduct inspection tours to ensure the security of the facility; conduct searches of personnel and vehicles to detect the presence of firearms, explosives, incendiary devices or other items which could be used for industrial sabotage; inspect perimeter intrusion detection systems for performance; monitor closed circuit television where applicable and other associated duties as required.

Operated and performed maintenance on ground surveillance systems, communications equipment, light wheeled vehicles, and power sources; assisted in emplacement, camouflage, and recovery of ground surveillance systems and associated equipment. Detected, located, and reported target data by interpreting ground surveillance system information. Assisted in planning surveillance missions using maps, aerial photographs, terrain studies, and intelligence reports.

Staff Non Commissioned Officer in charge (SNCOIC) – Supervised 45 Marines, to include managing the daily schedule to ensure each Marine received required training, medical care and leave, while maintaining the ability to accomplish the day to day mission of the unit. Counseled and mentored the Marines in my division to become better Marines and leaders.Aircrew Training Non Commissioned Officer / Assistant NATOPS instructor – Responsibilities included scheduling and tracking all enlisted aircrew training, organizing and maintaining Aircrew Performance Records, and integrating aircrew into daily flight operations; conducted initial and annual performance evaluations on enlisted flight crew members. During this time I received a Navy and Marine Corps accommodation medal for performance of these duties. Weapons and Tactics Crew Chief Instructor - Assisted in the instruction of crew chiefs and aerial gunners/observers in the development of their tactical proficiency; provided instruction in the operation and employment of weapons systems; performed classroom and flight instruction on various facets of weapons systems; gave instruction on enemy capabilities and the tactics to counter enemy threats. Helicopter Crew Chief CH-46E - Served as a flight crew member, operating and performing maintenance and daily pre-flight inspections on assigned aircraft; monitored aircraft during flight; advised pilots of obstacles and other aircraft as well as being responsible for passengers and cargo, Supervised and trained subordinates and prepared technical and advisory reports.
