The primary focus of my role was to integrate Indirect Sourcing with other business functions throughout the company, with the intent to optimize Sourcing’s ability to deliver on stakeholder expectations and promote alignment with company goals and initiatives.

Primary responsibilities include the planning and execution of strategic sourcing strategies to reduce overall costs while increasing efficiencies for the assigned categories, representing approximately $150M annual spend. • Negotiated $3.5M in hard savings and $9M soft savings year-to-date for assigned categories.• Led Design & Engineering projects from a strategic sourcing standpoint, conducting negotiations with General Contractors and Ride Manufacturers.• Negotiated a $391k (36%) savings through a competitive bid process for SeaWorld’s SAP support services.• Realized a $120k (13%) savings for the purchase of new Point of Sale systems for culinary and merchandise locations across multiple parks.• Project lead for SeaWorld’s Source-to-Pay Technology Transformation project to implement a new procurement technology platform and introduce new S2P procedures to increase purchasing efficiencies.• Collaborated with the Senior Director to interview, hire, and train three new Indirect Category Managers.

Manage facilities, MRO, and zoological categories, representing $90M in annual spend, for 12 theme parks. Primary responsibilities include maintaining relationships with business unit stakeholders to understand requirements across all parks and identify areas of opportunity to reduce costs, increasing operational efficiencies, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring continuous supply of all essential products and services. Responsibility also entails writing new and amending existing contracts, collaborating with inside and outside legal counsel when appropriate. • Led cross-functional project team, including management of all levels, in negotiations and execution of 20 year Power Purchase Agreement for the construction and operation of SeaWorld’s first solar system, forecasted to reduce Aquatica’s annual utility expense by $330k (49%). • Realized a $63k (14%) annual cost reduction in propane expenses by aggregating consumption under a single supplier, leveraging a larger footprint in the industry.• Realized a $40k savings for roller coaster painting services through a competitive bid process and negotiated an additional $60k through the down selection process.

Worked on a consulting team dedicated to the building and development of CHEPs Indirect Supply Chain division and responsible for partnering with CHEP’s internal stakeholders to run RFX and e-Auction events based on the client’s needs.• Collaborated with business unit stakeholders across CHEP’s 150 plant locations to identify opportunities for cost reduction for CHEP’s $30M fleet management program.• Determined appropriate bid strategy and conducted negotiations for tactical projects.

Managed a global supply base for the Enterprise Service/MRO ($7.8M) and Plastic commodities ($7M), encompassing 10.5k individual parts and 18k annual orders. • Analyzed resourcing opportunities, second tier supplier data, and logistics to support price negotiations and realized over $286k in cost reductions for non-current service parts in FY14.• Exceeded cost management goals by reducing total service parts cost to -5% net for Enterprise Service and -4.4% net for Plastics in FY14.• Improved on-time delivery performance to 94% (90% goal) for MRO and 96% (90% goal) for Plastics in FY14 through collaboration with supply base on action plan developments.• Improved asset turnover by 5% through implementation of material replenishment strategies.
