I have worked several years as a mechanical engineer. During these years, I have been involved with the design of a wide variety of custom automated machinery with customers in the automotive, medical, alternative energy and government business sectors. The project lifespans ranged from single machines to high volume production equipment. On several of these projects I have been the lead engineer, overseeing a small team of mechanical engineers. I interface regularly with customers and managers. The main 3D modeling programs I use are SolidWorks and Pro/Engineer, both of which I am very proficient in. I am also very familiar with Inventor and AutoCAD.I am am highly motivated and creative. I have worked closely with senior engineers and tool makers over the years and have learned good design practices as a result. I am willing to learn new functions and am constently looking for ways to improve myself as an engineer and my designs to increase productivity, decrease costs and reduce debug times.
