Since graduating from UI in 2003, I got to enjoy nearly 11 fantastic years at SERA Architects growing many skills from technical detailing to design; collaboration with clients, contractors, and consultants, and helping to organize the work of many talented people to help complete a diverse range of projects from large mixed-use and multifamily, to high rise, to an athletic facility and an incredibly complex student union. Recently, I've moved into the realm of sustainable housing development and design with some wonderfully talented people at SolTerra. So looking forward to new kinds of collaboration and design opportunity as we work to make our Northwest cities even better by design.Additionally, I collaborate on many local efforts to plan, design, and implement improvements in my community. This suburban transformation work is inspiring, and a great chance to work hand in hand with engaged local citizens. I've found that in all these areas, working with great people is what leads to the most satisfying work.
