Incompli empowers contractors to reduce the environmental impact of construction and industrial sites. Specializing in Stormwater, Incompli develops Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans as well as provides monitoring services. Nate came on board to assist in development of internal technology tools, as well as public facing web assets. What was originally developed as a inspection management tool for Incompli's inspectors and engineers eventually became CloudCompli.com, the flagship SaaS product of CloudCompli Inc.In his role at Incompli, Nate managed development, infrastructure, and technical strategy for all of the firm's technology. This included system administration of company servers, software development, project management, requirements elicitation and product design.

As the VP of Projects and Applications for Anodynesoft, Nate's work has two arms: project management, and application development. On the project management side, Nate is not only responsible for the active management of large scale projects the company takes on, but also defines company processes when it comes to how projects are managed across the board. His development work focuses on server-side web technologies, although he also works heavily in front end development tasks. He is involved in development on the AnodyneSoft Core Technologies, which are a suite of tools designed to aid in agile development of robust web applications for a variety of uses.

In the Academic Application Architecture Group, Nate works on a variety of high traffic web application projects. This group is a part of the Office of Information Technology, which is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining solutions to assist academic and research units across the campus. Nate is responsible for conceptualizing, architecting, documenting, and administering applications to aid the campus community at large.For UCLA on iTunes U, Nate developed an application with other members of the Academic Applications Architecture Group to manage UCLA's iTunes U site. Apple's Deimos web services provide an interface for web applications to interact with the data on their servers (what is shown in iTunes), so Nate was able to leverage these web services to design a web application that allows the creation of new sites in iTunes through a request process, provides a user management interface, and handles automatic-role credentialing for students/instructors and student group signatories. The application is live at https://itunes.ucla.edu.

In the Interactive department of HEILBrice Nate was responsible for a variety of web development tasks, including front-end development, production, and maintenance. He also performed a variety of tasks surrounding company-wide workflow revision and training. In his time at HEILBrice Nate spearheaded a companywide transition in time-tracking/project management software. Nate was responsible for conceptualizing new workflows, brainstorming the new process, leading transition meetings, training departments, and developing documentation and training materials for future employee training.

At CA Web Design Nate's primary responsibility was front-end web design, with a focus on semantic standards-compliant HTML/CSS and javascript, although he also performed any backend work required by clients in PHP and ASP.NET. Nate also worked closely with the head Creative, where he was involved in a variety of graphic design tasks which required heavy use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
