Nate is a Managing Director at Two Roads Advisors where he advises business owners who are considering the sale of their business. He brings 15 years of experience in strategy, M&A, and entrepreneurship to position his clients for the best possible outcome. Prior to Two Roads he was a founding member and VP of M&A at Perch, a leading e-commerce aggregator. There he sourced, negotiated, and executed over 50 e-commerce transactions ranging from $5M in revenue to $80M in revenue. As an executive at Perch, he grew the team from 3 to 300 and helped raised nearly $1B in both Equity and Debt capital. He also led partnerships with the many software and service providers in the Amazon seller community.Prior to Perch, Nate was a leader in Bain & Company's Private Equity Group. He advised on commercial due diligence of Private and Public company targets across business service, software, and consumer verticals and worked with management teams on strategic projects including growth strategy, merger integration and cost reduction. Nate brings a deep understanding of the buyer landscape and thought process to his clients today.Outside of these roles, Nate has also been an independent Strategic Advisor to Lower Middle Market businesses including B2B Software, Marketing Agencies, and Business Services.In his early career Nate worked as a Mechanical Engineer designing Nuclear Power Plants for the US Navy, and in Financial Advisory Services with Deloitte. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.Nate lives in Boston, MA with his wife and three children.
