Nate is currently VP of Product and Engineering at LSAS Tec and leverages almost 20 yrs of experience bringing digital mission engineering and aerospace systems simulation solutions to the global aerospace and defense community. With a career built on applying technical solutions, fostering partnerships, and even helping to build an international reseller presence across Southeast Asia, Nate continues to apply his growing skill set to bring industry leading simulation solutions to engineering organizations focused on digital transformation. LSAS Tec is a strongly aligned, long standing partner with Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) where Nate spent almost 20 years holding various positions including his last role leading the product management team for Ansys Digital Mission Engineering (DME) product line, which included Systems Tool Kit (STK) and Orbit Determination Tool Kit (ODTK). In addition, Nate is also a co-founder of OneSky Systems Inc, which successful spun out AGI during his tenure there in late 2019. Nate focused on the development of applications for commercial unmanned systems and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) initiatives and worked closely with the software development team and the business development group to drive innovative solutions to support mission planning, safety-of-flight, and situational awareness for unmanned platforms.Originally from Tennessee, Nate is graduate of the University of Tennessee where he holds both Bachelor of Science (2004) and Master of Science (2007) degrees in Aerospace Engineering. Nate is an FAA licensed commercial UAS pilot and is currently working toward his private pilot’s license for general aviation aircraft.
