I have been involved in a wide range of construction projects, with the largest being over $260 million. The challenges of getting various types of people from various types of companies to work towards one goal is one of the main reasons I love this industry. I will admit it is frustrating at times, but it is rewarding. There a lot of talented and professional people in the construction industry that contribute to a lot of successful projects. Unfortunately, the projects that get the most press are the ones with problems. It is my hope that the professionals in the construction industry continue to strive for excellence and contribute to the continuous improvement of the construction industry. This industry can do a lot to improve and implement green building practices that can improve quality of life and the environment for all.Specialties: My experience has shown me the importance of being able to create a cohesive team between the stakeholders of a project. That includes the owner, designer, contractor, consultants, etc. It is imperative these members of a project truly create a "team" atmosphere. If this is achieved a successful project is almost guaranteed. While this is not easy, it is achievable on every project with the right amount of effort, knowledge, and desire.
