I am a senior at the University of Portland studying Computer Science, on track to graduate Spring 2022. I have primary interests in computation theory and algorithms, and also low-level assembly programming. I am working on a senior capstone project, as well as a project of my own design currently. While my previous job experience is not directly related to computer science, I learned valuable lessons from these jobs such as how to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent services to maximize customer satisfaction. Through a few classes, I have learned team dynamics which will prove useful when looking for a software engineering job. In Object-Oriented programming I worked with my team to implement Battleship on the android platform. In Software Engineering, we used Agile development to design and build a website for our client. Finally, in capstone, we are also using Agile to design and build a Virtual Assistant for our University's website. I hope to get a remote job in software engineering where I can be part of a tight-knit team and get to know team members well, as well as grow personally in every way possible.
