I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Economics in 2012. After Clemson, I spent a year working landscaping and construction while I studied for the LSAT.I enrolled at the University of South Carolina School of Law in the fall of 2013. While in law school, I worked on the editorial staff of the ABA Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Journal, participated on multiple travel teams for the Mock Trial Bar, served as both the Communications Director and Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and was initiated into Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity where I served as Clerk and Chairman of the Faculty Auction Committee. Upon completion of my coursework, I was inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe. After graduation, I served as Law Clerk for the Honorable John C. Hayes, III in South Carolina's Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. During my time clerking, I had the chance to observe both civil and criminal trials across South Carolina. This experience calcified my interest in pursuing a career in litigation. Currently, I am an associate attorney at Johnston, Allison & Hord, P.A., where I focus my practice on Business, Fiduciary, and Construction litigation.
