In this position I had many roles.Pepsi Batch Verification Support:I was responsible for maintaining an outdated Classic ASP/MS Access and Windows Mobile batching verification system and new employee training for 12 sites. At the same time I developed a replacement system using C#/MySQL that would be integrated into their US network of 30+ sites. This included integrating with their Active Directory and SaaS solution as well as integrating with various supplier shipment systems. I was also responsible for the programming, installation and repair of 920i scale systems and handheld scanners.MS Word Templating:In this position I would create and edit existing MS Word templates using VBA to adapt for clients changing environment.Server Acquisition Remediation:This role involved working with a team to prep and transition over 2000+ servers into a supportable state from an acquired company. I created C# and VBS scripts to automate this process and assisted in manual migration of Windows 2000 server not support by the script. During the transition to standard support, I would assist in troubleshooting issues related to SCCM, Active Directory, MS Exchange and network issues.Legacy Wintel Server Support:Provided support for server no longer supported under Pfizer BAU support by monitoring an L2 ticketing system. Some this I worked on were file restores, server rebuilds, server performance, Active Directory changes and MS Exchange issues.Server Patch Level Audit:Along with data attained from SCCM, I wrote C# and VBA scripts to attain patch level status for over 8,000 servers for CMDB remediation purposes. After that servers were categorized and updated as needed. I worked with server admins with servers under special handing that had to be done on an ad-hoc schedule with manual updating.

Due to influx of servers and the severe backlog of update issues in the L2 backup queue, I assisted the team in remediating backup failures with VSS, EMC Networker and Tivoli Storage Manager. I also created and updated KB articles about VSS and EMC Networker failed backup resolutions that were missing.

Server Acquisition Remediation:This role involved working with a team to prep and transition over 3000+ servers into a supportable state from an acquired company. This included: • Attain and organize requirements and procedures for use by standard support • Plan and implement server remediation for transition to standard support • Work with site leads and technical teams to resolve application, server and network issues • Analyze server and site data though Business Objects and scripts • Track and report remediation progress by site and server • Troubleshoot immediate network connectivity, Active Directory and MS Exchange issues after the transition
