Most recently I have collaborated on projects using Next.js and Typescript.- Used Typescript and Next.js to build a platform to view and manage data collected using an AI integrated mobile application- Managed complex transaction processing for a rewards system for builders in the construction industry - Implemented a system for valuing and tracking assets for a Trust Management Company dealing with large investments- Used AWS CloudFormation templates and deployments with CodeShip Continuous Integration/Deployments.- Utilized React.js for various frontend interfaces, as well as Phoenix LiveView and Python/Django.

Adapted legacy jQuery and Ruby code to modern React and backend Ruby APIs. Delivered HR SaaS features that included: an option to require specific SSO integrations, enabling large-scale ADP imports and integrations, and managing job requisitions/hiring campaigns.

With the Vetspire team, worked on a platform for veterinarians at a place that was passionate about problem solving, learning, and embracing functional programming. I used open source software solutions to build and deliver key features (like treatment sheets), primarily using Elixir with Phoenix, GraphQL with Absinthe and Apollo, and React/Typescript.

- With the ShipEngine Developer Experience team, helped lead the implementation of a multi-interface (JSON-RPC and REST) shipping API to support the organization's SDKs and a Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight shipping service, using Elixir and Phoenix with JSON schema validations.- On a team of senior engineers responsible for maintaining a continuous delivery process using Kubernetes and Helm Charts and managing deployments/builds with Octopus and Team City using runtime configurations.- Setup Service Level Indicators (SLIs) in New Relic and Sentry, structured JSON logging with SumoLogic, and a process for managing static and dynamic translations using gettext for JSON-RPC endpoints.

- Worked on a SaaS platform for managing small to medium businesses, including employee time tracking, project management, invoicing, and accounting.- Used advanced javascript, including Angular (formerly 2) with a php backend. Our deployment and build processes also used python and Node.js libraries. We also visualized large sets of revenue and project management data with the Chart.js library and utilized the Slim php framework, with Eloquent (see Laravel) ORM and Phinx migrations.

-Utah United (2016) - Frontend development using Node.js and angular javascript to provide a map-driven data visualization of voter data in Utah. Used python to import, format, and process statewide voting data.-Professional Installation Services (2010-2016) - Implemented an inventory tracking and reporting web application using the latest best practices (php frameworks yii/laravel, amazon cloud services, jQuery, etc.). Worked with executives to develop project requirements to align with business objectives and timelines. -BriefLogic.com - Implemented a site redesign, and developed an interim web application for client access to resource/training materials (Verizon, Clearwire, Whirlpool).

- Developed custom software and used the Magento Framework/Wordpress to provide e-commerce software solutions for our clients using best practices.- Implemented scalable web services using third party APIs (Digital Ocean, Mandrill, etc.)

Focused on civil and business law, and helping improve access to legal resources for those who are underrepresented in our community. I enjoyed working with Legal Service organizations, with the Pro Bono Initiative (PBI) Clinics at the law school, and with other volunteer attorney programs. - I had the opportunity to volunteer at the chambers of Chief Judge William Thurman where I researched issues involving bankruptcy and commercial law. - Helped Judge Thurman and his staff prepare for various hearings, such as confirmation hearings for Chapter 13 plans, arguments for summary judgments, and hearings for objections brought by creditors or a Trustee.- Worked on a draft decision, and prepared office memoranda on issues that were pending before the Court or dealt with recent issues in bankruptcy law.

Researched legal issues and drafted memos on topics including wills, bankruptcy, and public benefits. Conducted client interviews and helped prepare wills, power of attorney and advance healthcare directive documents. Wrote advice letters and referrals for clients and potential clients under the direction of a great supervising attorney.

-Implemented online applications using HTML/Javascript/PHP/MySQL to display crime/sex offender data for the general public, communities, and law enforcement agencies. -Managed implementation of an Email Alerts system for users to receive crime data via email on a periodic basis.-Implemented and helped design a large-scale system that integrated with several third party libraries, including google maps, to display crime data and manage users using Flex and Ruby on Rails.
