Did research for the LIGO collaboration as part of Northwestern's theoreticals astrophysics group, CIERA* Developed first-ever software incorporating advanced stellar evolution physics into binary star evolution to determine LIGO's likelihood of detecting mergers of pairs of black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarfs.* The LIGO collaboration received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2017 for the successful detection of gravitational waves emitted by merging black holes. This detection verified to extreme precision Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and opened up an entirely new way of observing the dark side of the universe.

* Discovered several novel ways to observe super-massive black hole pairs in distant galaxies* Found one of the few analytic solutions to dynamical fluid flow known to understand shocks in a gaseous disk around merging super massive black holes* Wrote a 1D fluid dynamics code modeling the dynamics of gaseous disks around black holes* Shared my work at multiple conferences and over 10 top institutions.* Collaborated in high impact and high stress environments with strict time constraints.
