Nathan Christy Email and Phone Number
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to stop by my profile. I am a seasoned musician with extensive experience as a Composer, Sound Designer, Music Engineer, and Music Producer. I possess an entrepreneurial spirit and am very passionate about creating musical works and contributing to new endeavors. I’d also like to highlight that am skilled at playing an array of instruments and also have experience educating students of all ages and ability levels. Please allow me to highlight some accomplishments below: I produced “Waves of Love” by Al Jardine of The Beach Boys. This particular project required extracting a Carl Wilson vocal from an old DAT tape demo and modernizing a new version of the tune. I also played several instruments on the track including guitar, mandolin, uke, and congas. In addition, I arranged, edited, and mixed the final audio. Over the years, I have also collaborated frequently with 4X Grammy Nominated musician Larry Dvoskin. Mr. Dvoskin’s recordings have been heard across the globe as he has sold more than $27M copies to date. I should add that Mr. Dvoskin has also served as a personal mentor and friend for more than 15 years. I have also gained experience in scoring and producing films in a variety of mediums. For example, I scored the music for the documentary “Salmonboy” (A Story of Fire & Water). I also served as the Associate Producer for “Becoming Helen Keller,” where I was considered integral to the team. I engaged with PBS, communicated with creative team members associated with the project, and even composed the promo music. In addition, I created the original music for the award-winning documentary “Healing Voices.” I also supervised the edit and mix of the film and produced and composed the trailer for the movie. Many times, I execute this work under my Nate Christy Music banner which I launched back in 2006. Since that time, I have gained experience writing jingles for local businesses, and producing music for other artists. I even produce the music beds for Christopher Kimball’s “177 Milk Street” show on PBS. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention some of my software proficiencies which include: ProTools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Melodyn, Premiere Pro, & Photoshop, among others. In closing, I’d love to hear about your needs in the world of music. Maybe, if our sensibilities align, we might find a way to work together!
