Provided IT support to faculty, staff, and students. My daily routine consisted of proactively preventing IT issues by checking faulty network access points, ensuring network accounts were working properly and finding ways to explain complex technical issues in a non-technical way. Maintained all faculty and student desktops and laptops at North Kenwood/Oakland and Donoghue campuses.Coordinated and resolved network and server issues with System Administrator.Created an after school technology club which allowed students to enhance their computer knowledge.Established and maintained an inventory of all computer related hardware at both campuses.

I started my career at Apple retail as a Mac Specialist during my junior year of college. I quickly started contributing to the One to One program by providing personal training sessions on a variety of Apple products. Eventually, I found myself presenting in store workshops which ranged from basic to advanced macOS, as well as iLife and iWork classes. Once I finished my undergraduate degree I took a position as a Mac Genius. I received my certifications in Cupertino, CA and loved my time spent with Apple. Working behind the Genius Bar provided me with a wealth of knowledge of the Mac & iOS platform. I was able to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues. I left Apple in 2007 when I was offered a position at the University of Chicago's Urban Education Institute as a Mac Support Specialist.· Consistently achieved and maintained company goals and standards.· Routinely diagnosed and resolved Apple hardware and software issues for consumer and business clients.· Provided weekly theater presentations that trained and introduced various software and hardware solutions to Apple customers.
