Three major traits about myself that I prioritize to help my goals, both past and future, are being outgoing, having flexibility, and showing empathy. When it comes to being outgoing, I showcase this trait by building meaningful relationships. Whether it be classmates, teammates, or other peers, I value the connection and focus on using those connections to surround myself with knowledgeable people that can provide me guidance to achieve my goals of graduating with a degree in Personal Financial Planning from CAFNR at Mizzou and becoming a financial advisor. Flexibility is another important piece of my personal brand, as being a former student athlete at Indiana University has taught me how to manage my time between academics and athletics very well. I enjoy being adaptable and making sure to approach each day with structure, but also staying prepared to adapt at a moment’s notice. Something that works in tandem with being outgoing for me is showing empathy. I have been recognized by my peers as a very approachable and empathetic person, and one thing I currently do to maintain this level of trust is to keep getting to know them well and checking in on them.
