Under general direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Service Desk Manager (SDM) provides leadership for Linfield’s ITS Service Desk team. The SDM ensures the professional delivery of end-user technology services and support and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the client facing team of technicians that provides support to the Linfield community. They serve as primary point of contact for end users regarding Service Desk operations, overall support policies and procedures, as well as point of escalation in support issues. The SDM also acts as a systems administrator for a variety of university technologies and is responsible for providing systems related technical support to the University.
