My journey in the fashion industry started in November 2011. In the H&M, I passed the steps from the Sales Advisor position to the Department Manager position until December 2021. I learned to work with massive teams as H&M carries big groups per store while I was a sales advisor. Also, I filled out my basic skills such as floor operation, customer service, logistics, visual merchandising and garment care. It was a natural step for me to take charge of a leadership role in the sales advisors group as I became a senior. While I was a department manager at H&M and a team manager at CELINE, I learned how to manage the team with efficiency, vision and leadership. It wasn't easy to transform myself into the role in the first few months. However, I became natural once I got used to it. My management skills, for instance, prioritizing, analyzing the sales report, collaborating with other management, and coaching the team piled up during that time. Good teamwork appropriately drives the business. The most crucial factor for the management role would be the team building. I put my effort into building a healthy communication and feedback culture to achieve it. I planned continuous training, had feedback meetings, and passed off the messages. It was hard for the team to absorb at the beginning. Nevertheless, they followed my points and understood the benefits of it in the end. As a result, I was a well-known manager who stabilized the staff turnover rate. I am always looking for my opportunity and hesitating to discuss it with the team for our growth.
