I'm the Lead Product Designer at Wellfound, and my role primarily revolves around enhancing the Core Candidate and Recruiter experiences. Here's a rundown of what I've been working on:To start, I led the development of our very own Applicant Tracking System (ATS), which simplifies our recruitment processes and has garnered positive feedback from users. Plus, it rounds out our suite of free tools, allowing founders to discover top talent without any financial burden.We also took a leap into the global remote work landscape, collaborating with industry leaders like Deel, Panther, Remote, and Pilot. Our innovative tool has helped founders access fresh talent while also reducing operating costs.By using data-driven design, I've increased the success rates of matching recruiters with candidates, ensuring more fruitful connections.In addition, I focused on user-centered design improvements, resulting in a significant decrease in churn rates, which has kept our users engaged and satisfied.Most recently, I led the development of a comprehensive inbound product toolset, making it easier for recruiters to attract and manage top talent, especially in a highly competitive job market with a surplus of applicants per job posting.

At Bold Penguin I led all research and design efforts for our first consumer product, which was subsequently acquired by American Family Insurance. I established a comprehensive Design System using Angular Material components and created a complementary Figma Design System with dynamic components to enhance consistency and streamline designer onboarding. Collaborating with recruiters, I crafted Product Design job descriptions, conducted interviews, and developed training programs to build and nurture the design team.

During my time at Cvent, I had the privilege of being part of a dynamic, agile team where I played a pivotal role in building and maintaining our company's inaugural open-source Design System. Additionally, I led the design efforts for Cvent's enterprise division, spearheading projects such as customizable event-building software and KPI-tracking Dashboards tailored for Fortune 500 clients including Nike, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson.

As a UX designer at Yodle, I designed the company's first native mobile applications and a web version of a scheduling product, creating prototypes, strategy documents, concept models, ecosystem maps, sitemaps, process flows, sketches, wireframes, and detailed specifications. Additionally, I led user research efforts, developed personas, conducted testing sessions, and advocated for improvements based on test findings.

As a UX designer at Yodle, I overhauled the ServiceTask web application's site map to enhance usability, resulting in an 8% decrease in churn, conducted user testing and research to guide feature development, created process flows and user personas to inform business decisions, and collaborated with the co-founder on improving Yodle's Partner page to boost inbound leads for the Business Development team, establishing design guidelines for trade show materials to maintain brand consistency.

As an Associate UX designer at Yodle, I redesigned the client website and dashboard, conducted user interviews and usability testing to improve process flows, and helped prioritize features. This resulted in a customizable website and a client-side portal, which doubled 180-day client retention and boosted engagement.
