My role is to help our clients modernize their data platforms and capabilities. My role as the Director of Integration and Engineering is to drive revenue by selling and delivering technology solutions for our client base both locally and through our California and New York offices. These solutions include business process management, enterprise and departmental collaboration for Amazon, Safeco, and T-Mobile. I also manage an integration product called Enterprise Cloud Connect (http://www.enterprisecloudconnect.com/). This product connects both cloud and on premise ERP, CRM and Collaboration technologies such as SharePoint, SAP, PeopleSoft, SalesForce, Marketo and Taleo.

As the CEO of a boutique consulting firm it was my job to build our team, drive sales and delivery. We have extensive experience in the Life Sciences. During this time created platform to manage PLM(Product LifeCycle Management) for BioTech companies. This portal system managed research, laboratory studies(both in-vivo and in-vetro), clinical trials, and corporate documents. From this project the company BioTech data systems was founded to hold the intellectual property and patents. Responsibilities:- Developed lightweight custom ERP with barcode based scanning for tracking chemical compounds from the chemists laptop to the platform with WCF client\services- Developed LIMS(Laboratory Information Management System) to allow scientists to quickly create experiments and record results replacing spreadsheets- Developed Clinical Trial Management software that successfully ran International clinical trials in 5 countries simultaneously using custom webparts and CAML- Developed site templates that provided a corporate schema for information management.

The External Collaboration project was focused on building collaboration environment where UL's customers could engage their UL reps to increase the speed at which certifications and other services can be performed. It has document, user and task management built around a social concept. This was first prototyped on SharePoint 2013 Beta and then released in January 2013.

This role requires building a SharePoint solution practice for the Seattle unit as well as building a strategy for the western region of Sogeti’s US division. It includes solution architecture, management and delivery for not only SharePoint related solutions but the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack and the FAST search server platform. I was responsible for leading an enterprise migration from SharePoint 2007 -> 2010 for Epicor Software in Irvine, California. I managed a team of 3 from project inception to delivery over an 8 month span. This migration involved converting legacy vb.net web parts and services, migration Nintex custom workflows, migrating 1 million documents and over a terabyte of content from physical servers to a virtual load balanced environment. This project also involved rolling out new functionality such as FAST search server, PerformancePoint, PowerPivot, and User Profiles. At MorseBest I was a SharePoint Architect v- working for Microsoft for various groups including the SharePoint and SQL product teams. I built the reference hyper-v demo scenarios that the SQL and SharePoint teams used as enterprise demos. I also skinned and developed the SP 2010 environments that Steve Ballmer presented on stage at the SP 2009 conference debuting SharePoint 2010. In addition, I built the http://www.microsoft.com/bi site on the MNP platform taking the project over from another vendor. I also led a team in the construction of highly visible financial dashboards for GM's and VP's in the Comm sector at Microsoft.Responsibilities:- Developed internal portals on http://sharepoint/ for Microsoft.- Developed external blog site for office team, http://www.officemattersblog.com integrating youtube video clips, and performing custom skinning. - Developed an automated process to turn word documents into SharePoint pages for MSN Human Interface Guidelines- Built Hyper-V All-Up BI\SharePoint demo VM’s for Microsoft sales organization- Developed custom financial dashboards for Communication Sector including custom web parts, skinning, Business Connectivity Services, Lync, and list driven content.

I worked on several large web projects including Morgans Hotel group, BECU(Boeing Employees Credit Union), Microsoft, and Onvia.com. For the BECU project I re-wrote the encryption libraries that handle data coming into the site from user input. I also automated the build environment using CruiseControl and SSIS to migrate data across 4 different server environments with either push button control or automatic deployment mechanisms. For the Morgans Hotel Group I wrote the WCF interfaces including data and operation contracts for the flash front end. Onvia.com involved using SharePoint in a content management role to push out a live build for their public facing website during the middle of the day with no downtime. For Microsoft, I’ve played a front end dev role writing HTML\CSS Javascript and doing XML\XSLT for language localization for Microsoft.com/visualstudio. In addition I played a team role in developing the new Microsoft.com/silverlight website ahead of the silverlight 3.0 launch.

This job requires cross discipline experience ranging in categories from application and database development to network operations and system administration to supporting the data center environment at the University of Washington. In addition to maintaining the streaming services for UWTV, the Research Channel, and KEXP, this position requires development of next generation applications and services. Key Projects: Research1: Research1 is a social media platform that combined DigitalWell with the Community Server social network platform. I was responsible for leading the team that combined these two systems using the CS SDK. I merged the database schemas and designed the overall platform. This system was adopted by the NSF to provide a place for their research to disseminate their work. DigitalWell – DigitalWell was a Digital Asset Management system that held 600 gigs of streaming media and static assets. I was responsible for the design of the administration, operations and distribution aspects of this application while managing the E-Broadcast team. This system has maintained 100% uptime over the past 5 years serving over 70K digital objects for ResearchChannel.org, UWTV.org, KEXP.org and numerous other UW departments. It is based on a scalable platform written in C# using a SOA approach.Responsibilities:- Ran a team of 5 developers working on large multi-year SDLC based project- Designed and maintained applications running on over 170 servers- Sustained engineering of over 12 different major applications

While at Vendaria, I managed the network operations of our data center. I was in charge of all the systems and network architecture that surrounded their product platform. This position required custom application development as well as process engineering and information management. I also controlled the code base and deployment of their four streaming media products.

Job Description: I started working for DailyShopper.Com as a web and database developer. After the company experienced a great deal of growth I also took over managing the LAN and data center operations. Key Projects or Responsibilities:LAN Administration: I managed our local network security and connectivity includes switches, routers, firewalls and mail servers. One of my key accomplishments was rebuilding the entire network overnight during four different office moves. Another one was having a T-1 data line installed and running in five business days when the average is thirty. Data Center Management: I interviewed and evaluated several hosting providers and negotiated contracts for co-location and network bandwidth. I built out a network of database servers, web servers, load balancers, firewalls, SAN connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, and content management servers. With one day’s noticed I put five new servers in our system to handle a test we ran with MSN which delivered 500,000 unique impressions in one day. Our systems performance exceeded expectations.

I developed web applications and managed their internal network including running sendmail for messaging.

I began my career as a web application developer using PERL, C and HTML to develop CGI applications. Some of my early clients were The National Democratic Party, The Country Music Association, and AIPAC. I also helped produce Webcasts using Real Video 1.0, VDO, and VIVO streaming technologies.
