Manages the public library capital planning and construction program

Managed a wide range of self-sustaining, revenue-generating auxiliary enterprises and internal service organizations of the university.

Responsible for providing information and statistical data supporting the planning, resource allocation and program evaluation requirements of the Board of Regents, the President, Provost, key administrators, deans and chairpersons as well as federal, state, and other external agencies and groups.

Provided Program and Project Management consulting services on large capital projects for private and public owners.

Responsible for program management for the Immediate Needs Program at a major Central Florida public school system. Primary accountabilities included management of the planning, design, and construction phases for 14 schools in excess of $26M. Span of control included negotiation and management of pre-construction, design, and construction service contracts. Provided liaison support between school principals, their staff and the contracted design and construction professionals. Additional accountabilities included total project cost control, to include preparation of initial budget, and approval of all cost plan changes. Responsible for monitoring MBE/DBE compliance, negotiation and approval of subcontract modifications, change order and progress payment requests. Responsible for monitoring and approval of construction progress schedules, and final acceptance of the completed work.

Responsible for Architectural inspection, plan review, as-built update, and QA/QC services for the $21M Northeast Landside Terminal Improvements for a major international airport in Central Florida. The scope of work included a new baggage handling system, a vertical stair core with escalators, new baggage claim and ticket counter lobbies with service offices, a new Automated Ground Transport station.

Responsible for transitioning newly constructed $8,000,000 warehouse into a world-class logistics operation. Primary responsibilities included cost-focused budgeting, staffing, inventory management, product quality, waste control, safety, and employee morale. Developed a strong linkage between the sales and manufacturing departments, emphasizing customer service.
