Managed planning and production of medical devices. Performed forecasting and demand planning to ensure raw material and finished product availability. Resolved production issues via non-conformance and/or CAPA, and supported internal and external Quality System audits. Oversaw product cost and departmental budget, training, safety, along with continuous improvement across quality, design, process, and personnel.

Supervised twenty product builders assembling medical device convenience kits across two shifts. Set and managed monthly output commitments for 18 product families with 1,900 SKUs, prioritizing same-day fulfillment of customer orders for 5% of the business. Responsibilities included supporting projects for new products and product changes, process changes, defining layout and equipment to meet needs, investigation and disposition of non-conformances and CAPA, supporting internal and external Quality System audits, annual standard cost setting and budget, department metrics, training, and department safety.

Managed the Global Sourcing Analytics group, consisting of six analysts. Requirements included executive presentations, data gathering and analysis, metrics, project leadership, materials standard setting, and market research and intelligence. Drove continuous improvement on all processes, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality of data, and customer support. Developed tools and processes for sourcing organization.

Supported the packaging category and risk management program with broader support to both the Direct and Indirect procurement functions. Led the Lead Time, Spend, Sales, and Master Data quarterly processes as well as the cost savings monthly process with all associated reporting requirements. Provided ad-hoc analysis as required for supply disruption issues, RFPs, and spend. Developed executive-level presentations in support of Global Sourcing projects.

Worked within four business units during the two-year program which provided practical experience in a range of Supply Management functional areas. Primarily fulfilled sourcing and purchasing roles while obtaining a 6-Sigma Green Belt requiring completion of two larger projects which were focused on supply chain.
