Retired NHL player who spent 15 seasons with nine different teams, including the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Philadelphia Flyers. My hockey career was all about hard work and doing whatever it took to help my team, whether it was playing tough minutes as a fourth-line center or stepping up in the playoffs when it mattered most. I’ve also been pretty open about my journey to sobriety and the ups and downs of mental health, and I hope that sharing my story might help others who are going through similar challenges.Since retiring in 2023, I’ve been channeling my energy into different entrepreneurial adventures, including Forty4 Concierge, which is now in its 7th year of business. I’m also enjoying more time with my family and kids, and working to enter a career in sports media, specifically broadcasting. I’ve also found a new passion in Jiu-Jitsu, which has become an important mental outlet for me. Time off the ice has been a rewarding shift, presenting a new set of challenges that have allowed me to learn more about myself, discover new passions, and grow in ways I never thought possible.
