I am a marketing communications professional with experience in technology, political campaigns and policy. Managed Google communications from a small pre IPO team to more than 100K employees. Currently an AI startup advisor, parent and substitute teacher in public school. Experienced in media/public relations, corporate communications, crisis communications, digital marketing and brand communications. I have hired and managed teams of up to 8-10 people and public relations and advertising/marketing agencies. Led communications for hundreds of high-profile product launches (e.g. GMail, Google Maps) resulting in millions of new customers. In my role it’s about developing engaging messages and stories that attract people to a product or service. Developing and executing a plan to share that vision across all owned, earned and paid channels. Measuring and reporting my results to the executive team and internally to employees. In my time-off you will find me thinking a lot about product design and branding. Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in digital marketing and taking my son to swim practice.
