Co-founded New Beet Market, L3C with his wife and the Managing Partner of the business, Jamie Pacheco. New Beet has since been sold to a new owner, and has been re-branded.New Beet was a mission-driven eatery & marketplace, founded to employ, train and inspire young people to be productive members of our community. Profits went to support Seeds of Independence, a non-profit committed to ensuring that youth are on a pathway toward becoming independent and productive members of their community.

Breaking Wave, LLC helps people and businesses build value and get things done in less time.Projects have included:– Consulting with Fortune 500 corporation executives on culture change, product and systems development.– Developing a strategic plan for a domestic e-commerce business channel while running day-to-day operations alongside existing team members. Evaluated and balanced new opportunities with the limitations of the existing organization and brand. Launched the sales channel for <5% of the quoted costs and in 10% of the time compared to competing consultants’ quotes.– Strategic planning, board development and culture integration consulting for a group of non-profits seeking to capitalize on shared unique real estate assets, mission synergies, and operational efficiencies.– Evolving a regional brand to grow in specific B2C niche markets. Developed marketing plans, built analytical tools and evaluated data for customer insights and sales opportunities.– Developing new physical products. Fostered relationships with manufacturing partners, suppliers and logistics to manage the process of creating, communicating and commercializing new products into the marketplace. Using rapid prototyping and new commercialization strategies, products were launched in less than half the time of the firm’s previous average.– Branding and marketing campaign development for the launch of a new nutritional supplement product line. Included the re-writing of brand messaging to maximize clarity and customer understanding, and testing concepts using focus groups and online surveying.– Public relations and government relations work for three major solar energy projects. Coached the client in preparation for going before Town Councils and related government committees, developed government-focused communication materials and lobbied elected officials on the merits of the projects.

Developed e-commerce business channel to expand customer base beyond New England to the national market; scope included new product development, marketing campaign management, and sales channel management.
