QC Manager of a $1.3 million dollar fast track Design Build Project for the Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas. Project Started August 7th and is on track to be completed on the 30th of September. Job includes 4 pre-engineered open ended metal buildings on a concrete slab. Excavated 3 feet of existing soil, built up 3 feet of structural fill, a 6 inch capillary layer and 6 inch concrete slab. The structure includes plumbing, electrical and 40 individual kennels for the Border Patrol's Dogs. The facility includes parking on both sides and utilities are tied to existing. The concrete is coated with an 1/8" polymer based epoxy coat for cleaning purposes. Responsible for the application of the 3 phases of control established by the Corps of Engineers. Also reponsible for the adherence to the contract documents, including the RFP developed by the COE and the design drawings and specs. Monitored and logged all test results from water and sewer installation to soil compaction and concrete placement. The results were included in the daily reports and either passed or failed based on guidelines established in the specifications for each section. Currently working on closeout documents.

Construction Quality Control Manager -Responsible for the Quality and Construction of 2 Concrete tilt-up buildings: 1 Child Development Center and 1 Youth Center. Approx value 11.5 Million. Both Buildings were approx. 20,000 sq. ft - Monitor day-to-day quality control of the project- Including; testing requirements, Monitoring of subcontractors to ensure compliance to the contract documents, monitoring the in house crews to assure compliance with the contract documents, interacting with base personnel (Army Corps of Engineers), - Completing the quality control reports and coordinating with the project Superintendent and Project Manager- Worked with testing companies to schedule required testing during construction and reviewed the test results for any discrepancies or deviations from contract specifications
