I helped Corporations around the globe install and maintain Novell's GroupWise Networking product on various system. I worked for WordPerfect Corporation when it was purchased by Novell. While in WordPerfect, I wrote code to customize the product for specific clientele in the Merge/Macros Division. One of the most important skills I learned was to evaluate a client to immediately find their skill level and communicate respectively. For fun, I worked as a backup Hold Disk Jockey. The Telephone Hold system at that location, had a live DJ playing music and announcing wait times. I covered when the DJ's were sick.

IGS was in the process of building a repository of any and all data regarding Geology in Idaho. This was in the ancient days of Dbase 4. I collaborated with other Geology libraries. I built and Maintained the IGS, Database System and learned how to spell Mesozoic, Jurassic and Cambrian. I've since forgotten how to spell all of these. I didn't know at the time how important this work is and was. Now, I'm chomping at the bit at GIS systems, and the future of Agriculture Technology in Regenerative Agriculture.
