Altrucoin is a DeFi Lending SaaS company serving Web3 startups. We created modular on-chain lending software that could be added to any crypto token. We had a strong focus on bettering the world through charitable donations to causes around the globe. We reached key milestones including:- Raising $1.4M in IDOs (on smart contracts that we built)- Passing $12M TVL in our application- Donating $135k to charity- 0 Security vulnerabilities in our applicationsI taught myself smart contract and dapp programming while running the company and built our application’s backend on-chain. Led B2B sales at the CEO, hosted weekly public AMAs, and hired and managed internal teams of all kinds.

My responsibilities included:• Reviewing source code from hundreds of web/mobile applications in various languages including Java, C#, PHP, JS and more to identify/verify vulnerabilities• Configuring our static code analysis engine to efficiently and thoroughly scan customer code• Communicating the impact and likelihood of validated vulnerabilities and suggesting remediation strategies directly to clients• Evaluating the accuracy of the static code analysis scanner and providing feedback for possible improvementsCommon vulnerabilities found included: XSS, SQL injections, path traversal, unpatched libraries, sensitive information disclosure, insufficient logging, regex DOS, insecure cryptographic practices and more.

For this position, my responsibilities included demographic data analysis and reporting, content planning and development, team and finance management, and marketing/campaign strategy.

I began learning about bitcoin in late 2010 and started CPU mining in 2011. I was just a teenager at the time but my goal was to earn enough money to build my first PC.
