In this role, I began to grow in project management skills. I maintain consistent communication with clients to develop test plans and experimental design, and deliver analyzed data via reports. I collaborate with my colleagues to ensure shared resources are effectively distributed to meet multiple project deadlines.

Earned more responsibility to become a technical lead on projects, which required laboratory work and training junior staff. In this position, I began to write client facing reports that summarized the testing process and the data acquired.

In this position, I focused on performing laboratory benchtop experiments to aid in developing immunoassays and qPCR assays. I worked with the technical lead to determine priorities and to consult on data analysis.

Building off of my previous laboratory experience, I sharpened my laboratory skills by qualifying ELISA kits that we manufactured in the group. I trained on, then led the 5S Methodology within our group to encourage lean manufacturing practices. I earned responsibility to review controlled documentation before approval.

I developed foundational laboratory techniques by following Standard Operating Procedures to formulate buffers and ELISA kits, while learning cGMP.

In this position, I learned foundations of providing a positive customer experience through merchandising and maintaining the sales floor. I grew in my expertise of children's trade products to then train new booksellers in the particular merchandising of the children’s department. I planned and executed local and national events that catered to children.

I assisted the instructor with teaching 8th and 7th grade math and science. I collaborated with social services and administration to manage disruptive and defiant behavior, through parental contact and personalized behavior management plans.

I assisted the Principal Investigator in the development of an in-field method to detect marine algal toxins using a portable surface plasmon resonance system. I maintained experiment documentation and reported data to the PI.

I collaborated with a Biochemistry professor and another student to research idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis by using immunostaining to detect the presence of specific proteins in pulmonary fibroblasts.
