In my thesis I worked on characterizing different cell types with emphasis on endothelial progenitor cells (EPC's) in relation to there metabolism. Many cell metabolisms have been studies using ELISA and PCR - therefor this thesis includes hyper polarized [1-13C]pyruvate magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging to compare to the original methods and to use the much higher signal-to-noise advantage hyper polarized samples give.

I worked part time as a fitness instructor where I planned classes in step-fitness. This job gave me great experience in communicating tasks since not all the customers learn and understand commands in the same way. The job also gave me experience in standing in front of a large crowd and sometimes having to safe the day/speech etc. with improvisation.
