With over 15 years of experience in the media and charity sectors, I am the founder and CEO of Heard, a non-profit organisation that works with people and the media to inspire content and communication that changes hearts and minds. I am passionate about finding common ground on big, important issues, such as climate change, poverty, domestic abuse, and migration, and connecting people through stories that grow understanding and empathy.I started my career as a journalist, working at the BBC and the Guardian, where I produced the first Media, Science and Politics podcasts. I then launched Heard (formerly On Road Media) in 2008, with the vision of introducing new perspectives and experiences across the stories we see and hear in the media. I now lead a dynamic team of skilled facilitators, comms experts, and all-round superstars, who collaborate with media professionals, community groups, academics, and policymakers to create impactful and inclusive media content.
