FGLI Student Programming and FGLI Week Co-chair – responsible for planning and implementing programming and events designed to support first-generation, low-income students at Harvard College.

Working as an Extracurricular and Leadership Mentor for teens and young adults around the world to help them develop great projects and discover untapped passions. I help students research and pursue extracurricular activities relevant to their interests, develop and present a Leadership Project (capstone) proposal, create a video pitch, and complete the initiative completion form. In addition, I develop an organization management plan for leadership projects and conduct weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions with the youth to support them in executing their ideas. Furthermore, I liaise with all staff to ensure that the experience of the student and their family with the program is satisfactory, ensuring a 5.0/5.0 rating from my students. My main areas of expertise are community service/volunteering, social entrepreneurship, international relations, politics, economics, and social sciences.

Translated the laboratory's entire website from Portuguese to English, promoting cross-cultural communication and accessibility. Ensured that the translation was accurate and contextually appropriate, enabling the content to be understood by a global audience. Collaborated on an innovative project to develop contractual goals for startups participating in public contracts for innovative solutions (CPSI). Worked closely with the team to establish clear and measurable goals aligned with the program's strategic objectives. Developed goals and performance indicators for selected startups, implementing a pay-for-performance model. Ensured that the goals were realistic and achievable, allowing for proper monitoring of progress and outcomes. Shared knowledge and guidance for the successful implementation of the goal-setting model in other public institutions.
