At HT I did 3 things; created and led great teams, transformed staff perception of IT and ensured maximum value from IT spend.My time there was there was extremely productive, a few key achievements include- New ticket system implemented and built new comprehensive documentation for standards, guidelines and procedures- Chaired IT strategy group and created a long term vision for IT- Configured Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and trained staff to ensure continuity of service through the COVID lockdown period- Numerous security enhancements, including a total rebuild of the remote desktop solution- Lots of physical layer projects across; networking, AV and CCTV- Planned and coordinated with third parties on new building project- Introduced BCP with ransomware protection and improved, distanced backups- Rebuilding countless servers and systems to improve security and performance

I had a fantastic time in this role and worked with some great people across many diverse and interesting projects including - Training lead for new staff and Technicians- Working on the implantation and integration of Google Workspace for education- Creating a VMware and SCCM virtualised image creation and deployment solution- Supporting BYOD using Cisco Meraki MDM across all popular devices- Supporting MacOS and Apple based servers- Lead Windows 10 deployment- Created the popular education blog www.sandagogy.co.uk- Automated IAM and other tasks with PowerShell

My hard work and progress gained this promotion. Achievements include- Training of staff- Managed various systems, including a digital signage system- Assisted in deployment of a Ruckus WIFI solution site wide- Supported the BYOD across a range of devices- Implemented innovative new technologies in classrooms- Recovered Data on a critical hard drive saving the school potentially thousands of pounds- Taught the practical element of Media Studies GCSE and A-Level
