• Work on creating HMI (Human Machine Interface) programs using set guidelines and standards based on the specific customers.• Creating PLC programs using RSLogix 5000 to communicate between the robots and devices in the manufacturing lines. • After designing a PLC file, I have been sent down to the shop floor to then work on the actual robot cells to power them up and test/debug the software. This includes setting up ethernet connects to all the devices and robots as well as testing all the functionality of robots and safety devices. • Once the debug/testing period is over there is a buyoff period in which you work with the customer as they run through tests and debugging of their own, so I have worked with customers/clients as well. • Worked on Research and Development projects to design and create a standard for a brand-new product. • Do lots of work with contractors in which teamwork is needed in order to meet the deadlines for projects.• Have experience working remotely using Microsoft teams to ask/answer questions while working in office or remote environment.
