Post-doctoral research fellow in the Vascular Biology Program at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston,USA.Projects investigating (1) The primary organ responsible for megakaryopoiesis and thrombopoiesis, (2) The packaging of transgenic molecules into megakaryocyte ER and transfer into supercharged platelets, and (3) the development of perfusable 3-D vascular networks to study megakaryocyte-endothelial cell interactions by imaging. 3 Publications, 1 international oral communication, 3 posters.• Immunofluorescence microscopy to quantify megakaryocyte number in cryosections of mouse organs by widefield and laser scanning confocal microscopy.• Use of live-cell widefield microscopy in a custom microfluidic device to investigate and quantify the effect of shear on proplatelet formation of megakaryocytes isolated from multiple organs.• Design of retroviral constructs for the overexpression of eGFP fusion proteins in hematopoietic stem cells and their progeny, including megakaryocytes.• Live-cell structured illumination microscopy of the transport of eGFP fusion proteins throughout megakaryocytes and proplatelets using Zeiss Airyscan and AiryscanFast modalities.• Characterization of novel organelles and their cargo using structured illumination microscopy and ImageJ.• Multiple additional projects involving light microscopy methods for internal and external collaborators.Awards and Honors• ISTH highlights, International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, London, UK 2022 (Top 10 selected abstracts).• Young Investigator Award, International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, London, UK 2022.• Outstanding Abstract Award, International Fibrinogen Research Society, Winston Salem NC, USA.• International Researcher Award, University of Leeds, UK 2018.• Young Investigator Award, International Society of Hemostasis and Thrombosis, Berlin, Germany 2017.

The cellular responses measured post exposure were cytotoxicity and pro inflammatory mediator secretion, statistical analysis was performed using GraphPad Prism and Mintab.• I was responsible for creating the experimental design, presenting monthly updates and writing both technical interim reports and final project reports and revision of SOPs.
