4th Shore Hip Hop is an idea formed by two hip-hop loving college students who were born and raised in Chicago. Through months of hard work we have put together a website (www.4thshore.com) that showcases young, up and coming talent in Chicago. It is a place to discover new artists, with each artist having their own page that includes their notable projects, social media feeds (Twitter, SoundCloud, Facebook), as well as mixtape/album reviews and short biographies. We also feature exclusive interviews and consistently update our new music playlist with the best songs coming out of Chicago.Outside of the website, we have also planned hip hop concerts featuring local Chicago artists such as XVRHLDY and St. Millie. We will continue to put on shows in order to promote the artists that deserve it the most.We plan on expanding to other cities as we grow.

-Part of founding corps of Adventure Forward-Facilitated lesson plans and initiatives for groups of 2-30 students-Provided support in outdoor activities such as rock climbing and hiking-Planned and facilitated thoughtful debrief initiatives-Worked in two Denver schools, North High School and DSST Green Valley Ranch-Provided whole class and 1:1 academic support to two classrooms-Served as mentor and guide to students experiencing outdoor activities for the first time

-Led a group of Americorps volunteers as the founding team at the Bruce Randolph 6-12 school in Denver, Colorado.-Engaged over 100 students in after school programs-Coached middle school baseball team-Facilitated team meetings-Provided 1:1 and whole class support to 7th grade math classes-Developed and maintained relationships with school staff as well as outside sponsors and organizations-Taught ACT prep classes-Part of Dean's Council, a national board of peers focused on improving City Year culture and initiatives

Boston

- Served on a diverse 10 person team of Americorps volunteers as the foundation Mattahunt Elementary team.- Provided whole class academic support for 24 students, small group, and 1:1 tutoring in mathematics and ELA for a 4th grade inclusion class.- Facilitated team data reviews and created initiatives to improve upon this data.- Completed over 1700 hours of national service.
