Significant Achievements:- Research I helped manage and conduct (see my responsibilities below) informed new junior tennis competition guidelines across Australia.- Had a journal article published in the Journal of Sports Science – I put forward a new method to modify junior sport to enhance skill development and enjoyment. - Collected racquet performance data using HawkEye which was used to create a ‘Racquet Recommender’.Key Responsibilities:- Project manager for multiple research projects at a time. This involved: 1) Organising data collection at tennis clubs across Victoria, and interstate, during weekend competitions, usually over multiple consecutive weekends, 2) Managing and conducting data analysis using R programming language, and 3) Presenting results in written and verbal form for non-technical (e.g., state competition managers) and technical (e.g., academics), under tight deadlines. Specifically, I:-Compiled an ethics proposal approved by the university’s ethics committee, especially important for projects involving children under the age of 18.-Developed and conducted surveys for children and parents involved in competition tennis with the aim of understanding their competition experience.-Was required to train research assistants in relation to the project’s data collection process, and teach them how code match vision on iPads using an application unfamiliar to them.-Involved managing a small group of these trained research assistants to code 300+ junior competition matches. -Performed detailed analysis using the R programming language.-As mentioned above, communicated findings specific to the target audience.

-Taught tennis to young children, teenagers and intellectually disabled persons both after-school and during school holidays. -Required to tailor and develop an appropriate, engaging learning environment for persons of different ability levels.
