As Program Manager, I develop events, classes, and individual sessions to promote community growth and engagement at the gym. In addition to program development, I also teach climbing classes for varying levels of experience, provide guided climbing sessions to individuals, and offer coaching/training for any level of experience.I also am a part of the setting team at Boulder Bloc Climbing Gym, where I focus on the quality of the product we offer by managing our grade range distribution, ensuring that we have a proper amount of climbs at each difficulty, for the patrons of our gym.

The Wyndham Destinations Community Marketing Program is responsible for face to face marketing at events and permanent venues to develop leads and schedule appointments for prospective vacation club guests.It is a customer facing position that requires versatility in communication skills, self-motivation, and excellent product knowledge. As an agent, I establish leads, answer initial questions, schedule appointments, and follow up with clients to ensure a smooth and fun experience.

My position here changed greatly over the course of my time here. I began as a floor safety guide and youth team assistant coach. I stepped up to Head Coach shortly after. I coached a team of approximately 20 kids total, ranging from 9-18 years old. During my time as Head Coach I restructured the team schedule and divided the team into squads. Using this structure I was able to benefit both the climbing team members with better focus on each individual, and I was also able to benefit gym patrons through less crowding of climbing areas.I made sure to diversify exercises, promoting skill development while also balancing fun and progress.In addition to coaching, I began setting for the gym in early November. I took the opportunity to reacquaint and learn more route setting skills.

While here, I worked in an industry I'm very passionate about. I got the opportunity to develop young climbers between the ages of 5-16. The goal of these youth summer camps is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, whether they pursue climbing or not. Rock climbing can teach an individual in so many ways, and helping to guide the kids through pushing their boundaries or helping them navigate their fears is not uncommon as a youth climbing coach.We accomplished this by creating a program that integrates climbing, games, challenges, and even arts and crafts to promote skill development. The focus on skill development is aimed at preparing the kids for climbing, another sport, or even just challenges of life.

This position mainly provided technical support to many departments on campus through answering user support calls. User support calls usually needed an immediate response in order to assist the professor in returning to their lesson. Quick response and troubleshooting ability were necessary in order to save the professor as much time as possible.The ITS department was also responsible for updating software in classrooms and maintaining existing technology. Additionally, this department oversaw new technology installations such as smartboards, new computers, and other associated hardware. This position required general knowledge of software and hardware to provide any needed support for users across campus.

This experience was a great opportunity to learn a wide base of skills that will translate well to any role I pursue.The Technical Assistance Center was the front line helpdesk for about 90% of Sharp Healthcare, including it's patients. As a representative, I took calls from patients, doctors, nurses, and other office employees. Recognizing the issue and being able to solve it, or send it to the appropriate technical support group, is the priority to shorten the delay on the user's end. TAC used a ticket system which we would also provide correspondence for. Tickets also had wide array of issues, and similarly, the goal was to resolve the issue in a timely manner, send the ticket off to the appropriate group, or even lend support to the resolving group.Two of the most commonly used programs during my time here:Active Directory: The majority of my Active Directory experience was user access management. Knowledge Base: I curated a segment of our Knowledge Base for patient assistance, editing old and adding new step by step articles for basic training.
