Community Planning & Preservation Manager
CurrentWorking with local governments in Ohio to ensure that their historic resources are being protected at the local level. Duties include providing assistance on design guidelines, ordinances, resolutions, and other means of protecting resources; working with local governments to establish effective and sustainable preservation programs; working with government employees and officials to maintain their preservation program; working with interested individuals to establish local preservation; working on rural preservation issues. I also review federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credit applications, including drawings, specifications, and narrative descriptions of work. And I am responsible for managing the update to the Ohio State Historic Preservation Plan.
